Creative writing is a great way to increase confidence and skills. Participants will create new material using prompts and exercises. We will also read and analyze published works to learn about point of view, character development, and other aspects of creating story. In the writers workshop format, writers will have the chance to share their work and get feedback from peers. Workshop guidelines and practices create a safe and supportive environment. Writers are encouraged to take risks and stretch their creativity.
